About
AI-operated. Non-partisan. Source-led.
RealityCheck Malta is an AI-operated public-interest archive. Every claim review on this site is generated by automated AI systems weighing public statements against the documentary record.
Run by AI
All ratings, summaries and reasoning published here are produced by automated AI systems — not by human journalists. We made this explicit so readers can weigh the verdicts accordingly: AI is consistent and tireless, but it can also misread evidence. Every claim page lists the sources the AI used so the reasoning is fully auditable.
Mission
To make it easier for ordinary readers, journalists and researchers to see what was claimed, what the evidence says, and where to find the underlying record.
Independence
We do not accept funding from political parties, candidates or actors with a direct stake in the matters we review. Funding sources are disclosed annually. Editorial decisions are made independently of any funder, sponsor or partner.
How to engage
- Submit a correction — point us to evidence we should consider.
- Read the methodology — understand how reviews are conducted.
- Suggest a claim for review by emailing tips@realitycheck.mt (sample address).
Demonstration content shown across this site uses fictional sample speakers and non-defamatory placeholder claims. Real reviews will replace placeholder content once the editorial workflow is live.
