Corrections
Open to evidence. Open to revision.
If we have made a factual error, or if new credible evidence changes the picture, we want to know. Disagreement is welcome — but corrections must point to verifiable evidence.
Our commitment
Every claim review is open to revision in light of credible new evidence. Where a verdict changes, the change and its reason are logged on the claim page with a date stamp.
Disagreement vs correction
A disagreement is a difference of interpretation. We welcome these and will publish reasoned reader responses where appropriate. A correction is a request to change a verdict or specific factual statement based on verifiable evidence. We treat the two differently — but we read both.
